Questions to know the answer to:

What is archaeology?
What questions does it try to answer?  (Three main goals)
What procedures do archaeologists follow? (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
 What is a lithic artifact?
What is a midden?
Can you tell the difference between a pictograph and a petroglyph?
What types of artifacts survive decomposition?

What specifically is a focus of research in Washington State? (ties in with earthquake)
